The Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC) are running the Kempsey Introduction to Corporate
Governance workshop.
ORIC will accept applications from directors, members of ORIC corporations and key staff who are endorsed by their CEO or supervisor.

Banmirra Arts Inc will be running a Possum Skin Cloak Healing Workshop for Aboriginal communities of the Hunter region to share their possum cloak, discuss cloak protocols, make a baby cloak for each group and for children to make possum skin armbands.

Rio Tinto and Reconciliation Australia today presented to Prime Minister Julia Gillard the Rio Tinto Reconciliation Action Plan, which aims to build even closer ties between business and Indigenous communities.
Reconciliation Australia provided guidance and support in the development of the Plan which provides a blueprint for deeper engagement between Indigenous communities and Rio Tinto operations around Australia. For more information, open the PDF below.
