News brief – September 26, 2009
Today the new board members were appointed at the Annual General Meeting of the Wonnarua Nation Aboriginal Corporation. The new directors are Laurie Perry, Sandra Miller, John Lester, Arthur Fletcher, Tracey Skene, Sharon Edgar Jones, Maxine Conaty and Luke Hickey.
The constitution stipulates there must be four members who are directors for a term of two years and the other four directors who have a one year term.
The directors who have a two year term are Laurie Perry, Sandra Miller, John Lester and Arthur Fletcher.
The directors elected for a one year term are Tracey Skene, Sharon Edgar Jones, Maxine Conaty and Luke Hickey. |
